BACK PADDOCK GARDEN  RECYCLES PLANT POTS AND PUNNETS

Back Paddock Garden recycles its plastic pots at the garden centre in Waimate, particularly the black thermoformed pots and punnets as these are often rejected for recycling at depots because they won't accept dirty pots. Moreover, the larger sorting facilities have difficulty sorting them with other colours. See my blog on this subject. We also re-use as many plant tickets as we can. We invite our customers to return any plastics which have been part of a purchase with us. Feel free to drop off used plastics at the garden centre Waimate on your next visit. If you can give them a quick clean, that would be appreciated.
